In the spring of 2018, Rotaract Club Sofia together with the Symphony Orchestra and the Mixed Choir of the Bulgarian National Radio organized a Charity Concert “In the Dark”.
Each visitor received an eye patch to wear. The idea is to put yourself in the place of blind people, at least for a while, and to feel the music in a slightly different way.
The funds raised will be used for the construction of a playground in the yard of the school for visually impaired children 'Louis Braille', Sofia. It will include soft flooring and facilities tailored to the needs of children and will ensure their safety when playing. This will be one of the few playgrounds for blind children in Bulgaria.
